50 up for NZ...slightly surprised Bates is playing these three ODI'S considering she is retiring from cricket after T20 world cup next month ..surely it would have made more sense for NZ to have blooded someone else in these games

No Tammy.Beaumont for England slightly surprised...knew she wasn't in T20 side but hoping they haven't moved on from her in odis as she's still a hell of a player in test and odi cricket

Charlie Dean captaining England in this series with sciver brunt injured but apparently she is unable to bowl full quota due to stress fracture issues...if that's the case why is she even playing?!

The fielding performance has been utterly horrendous dropped catch and a lot of nisfields....bowling been good though, NZ 205-8 in the 47th over ..Kerr and Green with half centuries

209 all out feels like a par score on this pitch there is a game on England fought back really well in the last 10 overs

Dean gets England over the line

looks as though it all got a bit squeaky, but a nice tight finish for the punters

Watched that England innings on delay...thought they were likely done for when Bouchier got out with 50 still needed ; but Dean played a really smart innings , with great support from Bell and the remarkably composed "New Girl" Corteen-Coleman , to get them over the line . New lass had a pretty good match actually with a handy 2/49 as well as that number 11 effort with the bat. Promising debut !

In many ways it's the fielding that lets the women's game down. When I've been to Tier 1 matches, there are usually a lot of misfields that end up running away for 4

But given time this ought to improve
