He's only played one game of cricket this year, back at the start of February and that was after a 3 month break, so he might be either very fresh or very rusty. If he's drafted straight in, it might be the latter. We wait and see, I suppose

Yes, I'd have thought he could combine the roles but the Times article suggests he's leaving Durham.
