I think we said the same thing about Wagner. I doubt it even occurred to think the same about Boland the destroyer. I reckon the only ageing bowler we've signed in recent years who didn't break down at the earliest opportunity was Old man Siddle.

Yusuf would have been my choice to return. I see Roach's most recent international ended with a hamstring injury! The warning lights are flashing.

My guess is that Yusuf is keeping his suitcase packed ready by the front door

In truth, if any injury replacement at the level of our recent overseas bowlers had to be considered, I'd sooner we didn't bother and played Minto a lot more this season
