Union beat Club Brugge in a scrappy affair last night to move 5 points clear of Brugge in the table. While the division of points before the playoffs mean 5 points is hardly a mountain to climb (because its 2.5 in reality), its the nature of the performance from Brugge that will be the concern for them. They had one chance in the whole 90 minutes, and should have been put to sleep in the second half had it not been for Mignolet once again pulling out a few mega saves.

Been a weird season for Brugge, who have struggled in many games to play positive football without caving in goals. They either seem to be lacklustre up top and grind out a few results, or score goals and concede them in bucket loads at the back.

Won't complain tbf.
