I literally tossed up to decide my second NZ selection between Bates and Devine : already regretting my choice of the former

I had planned to swap Bates out and bring NSB back in, but it was 10 mins after the toss when I went to do it, so I left it as it was

It might still work out for me. I got the opportunity to watch Bates first hand a few times this year and she looked different class to anyone other than the established England internationals that she played against. She might score a big one in her next match. I hope she does, as much for her sake as for mine. Tough getting a first baller on your 350th international appearance
