In the past, when we’ve qualified for QFs we’ve done so in 4th place and had to play the best south team at their place. Am I being stupidly optimist to wonder about the possibility of maybe hosting a QF? Was the last time that infamous Glammy game that wasn’t against Yorks because of Rafiq?

I think it was Sussex. Have a memory that we got off to a good start and then capitulated once the first wicket fell.

IIRC, there was a very fishy incident at the toss, but I can’t recall what it was. Did their capt (Bermuda player) pick the coin up after calling it and then turn it over to make it the right call or something daft like that?

I'm just waiting for something to go wrong. It has been a remarkably good Blast campaign so far but there's always a feeling it'll go pear shaped!

I was going to go down tonight, but one of my sons in law has won a ticket for the Leics game on Tuesday, so I'll go to that one instead

besides, I have allotment stuff building up on me and it's too hot to do anything other than later in the evening, so I'll go down there tonight instead. I had planned to do this on Sat evening, but I've found out that we now have small people staying over on Sat night. I could still go down then, but the grief I'd get just isn't worth it..... I wouldn't mind, but it isn't me that invited them over
