That 1-1 draw away to Manchester United has put further distance between Liverpool and Arsenal.

Durhamfootman wrote:last night was just what the Geordie doctor ordered.... a gruelling, energy sapping encounter for Liverpool against a team that played them off the park, but which miraculously saw Liverpool scrape a win to keep all their energies concentrated on the return encounter. There will be no resting of players on Tuesday. PSG will have been wishing they had the ref and the VAR from 2 years ago when they scraped a draw against Newcastle, rather than the one which disallowed a goal by a heel and ignored the big fat penalty shout
lets hope PSG can work them hard again next week, with lots of extra time and penalties............ and maybe chop Salah's legs out from underneath him

I went for a walk along the old railway line for the match, bumping into captaincolly on the way. When I did get home I nervously checked the score, saw we were
2-0 up in the 6th minute of time added on and blow me if Liverpool didn't score within seconds of me having a look
I really am the biggest jinx for teams that I support
Anyway, I watched the celebrations and presentations live, looks as though Big Dan Burn got POTM, and I'm just settling down to watch the recording of the game, which I intend to enjoy immensely
Eddie Howe........ legend!
