You would expect Australia to come back very strongly after being defeated in first test at home atleast. And indeed they have come back strongly and thrashed India in this test. Surely they would have liked an innings victory after the demoralizing loss at home.
Losing to Australia after having won one before at their home is acceptable. You dont win against Australia match after match at their home. But the fight was not shown in the loss. Another test ending within 3 days.
India batted for only 36.5 overs. Should have made Australia bowl atleast for a day and showed some fighting spirit instead of folding so quickly.
Starc was outstanding. He is one senior bowler in test cricket who continues to bowl consistenly above 140 kph. Even after so many years he has not discarded pace. Kagiso Rabada is another. Pat Cummins was down on pace in recent year, but after the loss in first test, he has increased his pace. Gets 5 wicket haul when he was under pressure after having lost first.
Well played Australia.
