There are very many good things that can be said about Newcastle fans, but sometimes they just need to grow up and maybe look in the cupboard in the garage for their lost brains, because when it comes to this stuff they are as thick as mince

Pretty sure Pickford started it way back a few years ago when he saved a penalty at SJP, and decided to celebrate by dancing around like he'd won the world cup and cupping his balls at the crowd. He then spent the whole match cheering each Newcastle mistake by doing something similar, then made himself look a total d*** by letting in a few howlers as Newcastle won late, and the Newcastle fans gave it back full barrel. Pickford is on record saying that its really tough to play there, and that his previous mistakes are probably because the crowd get at him, so in the past it has worked.

Jordan seems like the type of person who could start a brawl in an empty room. Again, last year at Goodison it was him and not the Newcastle fans carrying on like an idiot. I think he ended the match trying to start a battle royale after upsetting Newcastle's players by running over to the crowd and celebrating like he'd won his second world cup. And then walking off he was doing shadow boxing at the Newcastle bench.

I dislike few players more than Pickford. A below average PL keeper who makes mistakes and shouts at other people like its their fault he can't kick a ball.

Got to say, I really enjoyed that comeback yesterday, but Spurs need to bin this Aussie maniac... 2-0 up and throwing 11 men up the field, just utterly crazy, suicidal football from Spurs.

I was there a few years ago when Everton came to SJP for a midweek game. The fans gave absolute pelters to Pickford, Rooney and Allardyce..... the whole match long. The level of abuse they got was really extraordinary to witness, given that I only go to very occasional matches. Rooney scored the only goal, Pickford made a string of saves and Allardyce danced up and down the touchline after the final whistle, so it's always seemed completely counter-productive to me

Another defeat for Newcastle, this time at home by Brighton. Looks like Newcastle dominated the game had a string of chances, couldn’t score and lost to the odd goal. Newcastle have needed another quality striker for at least 2 windows and haven’t bought one, not an oven ready one and it’s now hurting them.

I get the PSR stuff, but they haven’t been able to sell anyone to free up money either so they haven’t strengthened in what is it….. 3 windows or something? Failure to invest is investing in failure

Without playing, Newcastle have slipped to 11th. Unless they beat Chelsea tomorrow at SB, which I'm not terribly sanguine about, it's possible they could be 13th by tomorrow night with Arsenal to play next weekend
