1. Saeed Anwer - his record in a low scoring era of quality bowlers is worth multiples of Sehwag's flat track bully act on historically flat ones.
2. Sunil Gavaskar - The only person to tame that best seam attack in history.
3. Rahul Dravid - The greatest 3 to play the game in my opinion. Classy, tough and probably added a few runs onto Tendulkar's average below him being wearing out attacks.
4. Sachin Tendulkar - No explanation needed.
5. Inzamam-ul-Haq - Terrific player at his peak. Languid style, brutal power, great player of quick bowling. Extra points for being mad as a hatter...
6. Mohammed Yousuf - If I could take a time machine and pick one batsman I witnessed in my life at a given time to bat for me, I go to that period in 2005ish after MY converted to Islam and then became as close to unplayable as anyone I have witnessed in sport. He made something ridiculous like 10-11 hundreds in 11-12 matches. Some of them were big hundreds too.... can't remember anyone over such a long period sustaining that type of unbelievable form.
7. Sangakarra (wkt) - The gloves get him in the team. His record was great, and that 180 odd away in Australia was one of the greatest innings ever, but in general there is way too many dead calories in those runs he scored. Never looked that great when the ball did things for the seamer.
8 - Ravi Jadeja - Complete package. World class fielder, proper batsman, takes wickets for fun.
9 - Murali - No debate here at all.
10. Shoaib Akhtar - At his very best, that reverse swing at pace was unplayable. Has a great record in an era of big runs, and most of that record is him struggling to remain fit. If he didn't have injuries, he'd have been the best bowler of his era. Absolutely unplayable when he got his tail up and the ball reversing.
11. Jasprit Bumrah - Considering the pitches he plays on, his record is unbelievable.

Got to have Bumrah and Yousef in there, surely?

Geez, imagine an attack of Bumrah, Akram, Ashwin and Murali.

Sunny
Sehwag
Rahul
Sachin
Sangakkara (wk)
Kapil
Imran
Ashwin
Wasim
Jasprit
Murali

Murali and Ashwin are two specialist bowlers. Both have ability to bowl 30+ overs each in an bowling innings. Sachin bowled and picked hundreds of wickets as spinner. So he can backup as 3rd spinner who could pick wickets on his own while giving support to Jasprit, Wasim, Murali, Ash, Kapil and Imran if at all required. Sehwag would be the part time spin option.
Jasprit and Wasim to be pace spearheads. Kapil and Imran form very good 4 pace attack.

5 world class test batsmen followed by Kapil and Imran. Ash at 8 and Wasim at 9 is more than enough batting depth to give a score for such a strong bowling attack to bowl out the opposition.
Test FL's - 8 , ODI and Tests Combo FL's - 1, ODI World Cup - 1, ODI FL's - 7, ODI and T20i combo FL's - 1 ,
T20 Franchisee FL's - 7, T20i Cup FL's- 1, T20 FL's- 5 , 50 Overs Domestic FL's - 1, 40 Overs Domestic FL's- 1
