I picked him for my div 2 fantasy league team last year, based on his performances from the year before, but he was a bit disappointing last year. Maybe the change will do him good. It worked for Lees and it worked for Pudsey

he only took 27 wickets last year from 12 matches and 7 wickets this year from 5.

Will Rhodes signing finally confirmed- 3 year deal.
Described in the article as " a natural leader." One thing is for sure- unless the rumour that Lees may be heading back to Headingley turn out to be true- Borthwick won't be batting in the top 3.
I have no idea if those Lees rumours have any substance - seems unlikely to me , but it would be one explanation for bringing in both Gay and Rhodes. Although it's perfectly possible that the rumours started because we made those two signings.

I didn't realise he was such a useful bowler too. Seems more than a part timer with the ball.

I don't know, didn't bowl at all in their last CC game but that was an innings win so the frontline bowlers got the job done.

this seems to have been a good year for him. last 2 years he scored 600+ runs. last year he took 2 wickets, year before he took 8 but in 180 overs. This year he already has 800 runs and 8 wickets

Interesting view from Steve James in The Times- he reckons Ben McKinney could be in line for a test call. I know left field selections are in vogue but that would be a particularly surprising one.

Ben Raine apparently the latest expectant father so could miss the Surrey game. Not that it would make much difference- I've got that one written off!

the women's games for the new competition are added to the offer and given the number of very decent signings, I think I'll go to some of them. It'll be interesting to see how it compares to the men's stuff
