A little lateral movement but not excessive.

Northants are a very good T20 outfit, but David Willey's first 2 overs produced a maiden and a wicket maiden, which is not quite normal in T20.... even for us

Very unusual! I never had much confidence that the recent run of good results was a sign we'd turned the corner in this format.

Excellent innings from Ackermann and handy contributions down the order to get to 140.

I think it's frankly astonishing that we got to 140. What a knock from Ackers

of course it probably means that DD's assessment of the pitch was correct and that Northants will knock it off with ease

we have, at least, got something to work with.... Notts got blown away without Warks needing to go beyond the PP

Alex Thomson, who was nowhere near good enough for us to sign him, picked up 3 Yorky wickets in his first over. Malan, Lyth and Masood.... 3 former internationals, so they weren't mugs

Maybe a little closer than it looked like being but doubt many teams win when the top 3 all fail to score!

Durham's significantly superior fielding kept them in the game. I'd estimate they were 15 runs better than Northants.
