No doubt he'll be offering replays to all the teams who were subject of crap decisions playing Liverpool?

I understand the frustration, the decision was clearly wrong, but refereeing errors happen all the time. This one was particularly egregious given VAR is supposed to deal with this stuff, but the solution is improving the VAR process and the standards of officiating, not replays for every mistake.

Newcastle concede very late on and have to settle for a draw against West Ham in a game the Mags were dominating. Could have been worse.... seemingly WH came close to 'doing a Liverpool' by snatching 2 goals and victory in injury time in a game they struggled in

A bit annoying really, but there you go. A point away from home against a close rival is not to be sniffed at, but 3 points would have been most helpful

Newcastle right back on it straight away. A demolition job on a team having a pretty good season. If Newcastle get on too early, they’re like a machine and they put teams to the sword. The only way to play Newcastle is to try and frustrate them and hope they start snatching at things and put themselves under pressure. If you don’t do that this team will eat you for breakfast

I still want our relegation quashed in 2020 when the GLT failed for its only ever time in the Sheff U v Aston Villa game.

Newcastle scored some great goals last night, especially given they didn't have a recognised striker on the pitch until Wilson came on late with the game pretty much won. Altogether Eddie Howe made 8 changes for the trip. Interestingly Sean Longstaff was a starter and capt for the night. For all the stars around him, Longstaff is becoming the go to man in the midfield for Howe and rightly so. He's getting better and better every season and is now adding goals to his game. Looking at him now, it's hard to believe how close he came to being moved on under Bruce. An international call up might not be very far away if Sir G ever lifts his head up and looks around.

Tino Livramento looks a cracking player, btw. He's only started 2 matches, both of them in the league cup, and walked away with POM in both of them. His drive through the Man Utd defence before releasing the pass for the first goal was a thing of beauty. Newcastle seem to have signed the perfect long term replacement for Trippier

Quite how the VAR booth decided that Bruno running up and elbowing Jorginho in the head was not the most obvious red card in the history of the game, I do not know. What possible justification could there be for it? Contact from hand/arm to the face is an automatic red..... do not pass go, do not collect 200 quid...

Best football league in the world, and we have clowns running it.

VAR going through disaster bingo here....

Take your pick.... was Newcastle's goal out of play and a goal kick, offside, a foul on Gabriel, a handball by Joelinton or a result of an elbow (yes again) from Bruno on Jorginho and should have been a foul???

Well after 7 minutes, VAR decides none.... goal given.

Absolute shambles at SJP.... shambles!

I haven't seen it yet, but I am aware that there is a lot of controversy over red cards for bruno, red cards for Burn, red cards for Havertz and the triple whammy of the goal. Carragher says he's happy the goal was given because he thinks that too much time is spent by VAR trying to rule goals out rather than rule them in

I haven't seen it, so I don't know, but if Newcastle got away with a goal against one of the 'favoured' teams today, then it makes a bloody change
