2019 feels like forever ago.

England have reverted back to type before big series - inadequate preparation, muddled squad selection, picking injured and out of form players, poor decision making (one spinner on that ground?).

These are players with a strong ODI pedigree, for the most part. They haven't become bad overnight but they have set themselves up to fail here.
