it's hard to comprehend how a team challenging for top 4 all season can suddenly become so completely hopeless. The only thing I can think of is that the team has just given up en masse. The fans must be raging

I've been saying all season how disgusted I am with the behaviour of managers towards match officials, and Klopp is one of the primary offenders. This isn't a one-off, he's got a ton of previous. It not only sours the match itself, it brings the entire game into disrepute. How many times is this behaviour filtering down to lower levels? And Klopp is rude and ungracious to other managers too.

Yellow cards don't seem to have any effect, and even touchline bans. And these managers are paid so much that a fine of a few thousand quid is pocket change. They need meaningful consequences like docking of points. That would shut them up pretty quickly.

It not only sours the match itself, it brings the entire game into disrepute. How many times is this behaviour filtering down to lower levels? And Klopp is rude and ungracious to other managers too

He's a weird guy at times, Klopp. Most of the times he comes across as quite a nice guy, but when things dont go his way he can be abrasive and nasty.

Allardyce is back after a 2 years hiatus

you know things are desperate when a club feels they have to turn to him. Leeds are going down, I think, no matter what they do. They rescued themselves on the final day of last season, didn't strengthen but weakened themselves letting Phillips and Raphinha go. This time, when they do go down, they'll lose Harrison and Gnonto too

Dunno, I think it's still pretty tight between Forest and Leeds for the drop. If Forest can beat Southampton at home at the weekend, that'll be a big step towards safety, given Leeds have an absolute beast of a run-in.

Only Real Madrid can compare to Liverpool's referee benefits. I think bad officiating in Liverpools favour is worth 30 points a year... average team elevated to greatness by referees.
