SA and India's treatment of the qualifiers a big contrast with England's.

KL Rahul will be fearing his place in India's team

India comfortably beat the Dutch, but Zimbabwe pull off an exciting one-run win over Pakistan!

Pakistan basically already out? Shocker really but maybe always just too dependent on Babar and Rizwan

Of course Babar and Rizwan are failing, I picked them in my fantasy team :no

Pakistan aren't out, but their destiny is out of their hands. Have to win their remaining three games and hope South Africa lose twice.

Not looking good for a result in Afg-Ireland.

Presumably they could still just about get a game in if play can start by 5.30 local time - 5 overs a side with no innings break. But the rain looks pretty set in.

Match abandoned.

I think we will see some play in Aus-Eng, but probably not a full game.

Still holding out hope for the late game this evening. I am a bit puzzled - looking at the radar the rain seems to have largely passed through ... but it is still mizzling outside my back door... At least it has been mostly pretty light today.

Does seem to be a chance we might see some cricket but whether they can actually complete a game - even with reduced overs - is somewhat up in the air (if you will pardon the expression)

Real pity this WC has coincided with absolutely the worst October weather here that I can remember in decades.

Pakistan would be hoping for Everything to Go Right... even if they could beat South Africa they'd still need India to do them a favour ; and also Zimbabwe to drop at least a point from two very winnable games against Bangladesh and Netherlands. Don't fancy their chances.

England/Aus match abandoned.

Not a good result for either team, especially Australia.
