Would have carried to Root to catch, apparently.

Like with Potts, bowled a little too full... but he's also been unlucky, he's particuarly giving Nichols a working over right now.

Slip catching is instinctual, so you cant really fault a player thinking its in his zone.... but yeah, Root would have done well to shell that chance, while for Crawley it was a tough one... maybe standing too close.

Potts finally puts it shorter, and cramps Conway for some room. Top edge flies to the boundary, but hopefully it gave Potts the memo. Everytime he gets it shorter and into the body, he's caused problems this series as he extracts just a little bounce. Dig a few in son, they havent handled it well at all

Edged just short now. Get a feeling the slips need to move up, but I said the same at Lords and all the catches just made it (with the Bairstow one he dropped probably having flown over his head stood further up)

Broad cant do much more to take a wicket.

There is that short ball again. Potts gets Nic to glove, but Stokes seems to trip up as he sights it.... if he hadn't, it was going to drop to him... another chance lost.

Stokes gets Nichols, who gives away his wicket in the end. Stokes has bowled terribly and has 2, Broad has none and has bowled a wonder spell... cricket can be so unfair

Another one grounded just before the hand.... England need their slips to push up

Anderson comes back on and ends Conway's innings.

Fifty partnership in 17 overs. So still a decent click.

Didn't age well. England need one or two or this has been a bit of a bad day
