Day Two of the LPL saw Colombo win their first match in the competition, beating Galle by 4 wickets with 15 balls remaining. Colombo showed some good bowling skills with wickets shared around. The best figures were Dhananjaya De Silva's 2-18 as Colombo limited Galle to just 116. Colombo eased to that total.
Dambulla beat Kandy in the earlier game.
Despite Galle playing twice, Dambulla's Phil Salt scored 64 today to take him to the top in terms of runs. Pulina Tharanga has used that unfair advantage to his favour and has 4 wickets.
