Poytner and Bancroft wont have renewed contracts.
No new signings but actively seeking 2nd overseas signing.
CC format for next season announced tomorrow.
Bancroft 2nd guessing that it'll be 2 divisions based on 2019 final placings.

I imagine Notts were incandescent. They came very close to winning the CC this year

I'm actually quite happy to be in division 2,albeit for the wrong reasons, haven't got enough in reserve come injuries to compete in division 1.
Confident we'll change places with Sorry for 2023.
Can't see Notts accepting this. Swapping place with Yorkies as their sanction could offer a solution.

Would be nice from an English perspective if he would commit to English cricket because I think he'd walk into the side, but I know when he first came over he was committed to SA still.... maybe thats changed?
westoelad wrote:No, he came over originally hoping to play as a domestic player using an ancestral passport but that route was blocked post brexit. At present he's classed as "an overseas player playing under an ancestral passport" according to Bostock but he didn't clarify exactly what that meant.. Bedingham is back in SA at present but hasn't turned out in T20 for WP but their 1st clas programme hasn't started yet.
