Slow going today. 28 overs , 50 runs. But just the two wickets gone so they are inching towards the 200 that might seem a decent total in these conditions...

Certainly making England work for their wickets - though they've arguably been fortunate to play and miss a lot .

This might be 8 out though ? Did it touch the grass ? Nah, that's not out...

In fairness it was a tough one. But he seems to have a habit of dropping the player who goes on to top score...

Good (abbreviated) day for Pakistan. 223 and one still to fall...looks like a par score in the prevailing conditions. England might struggle against their fast bowlers - and Abbas ! - when they do get to bat.

But the forecast suggests this one might be cruelled by weather and light.

Rizwan has looked the most comfortable batsmen yet for Pakistan.

which is why I get so annoyed whenever England sleepwalk their way to a first test defeat in a 3 match series. Fortunately it's now Pakistan who have to try and win both of the remaining 2 matches with all this weather around
