Absolute disaster. He played every match and his only positive contribution was one over of batting vs Somerset, which completely changed our run chase (from defeat to victory).
Very much of those bits-and-pieces players whose effectiveness is reduced in line with the length of format. It's easy enough to hang around and chip in with 30 runs in four days cricket, and then bowl five filler overs until the new ball comes around. But at the other end of the scale, in t20 you need to be able to properly bat or properly bowl. Part-time bowlers will get destroyed. Part-time batters will get out.
