Well done guys.

That should be top three done. But where in the top three is still very much unknown.

Fair play to Sussex. To chase down 284 after being 94-6 and then 260-9 is some going.

That's Essex out of the equation. In fact, realistically, unless Middlesex beat Somerset tomorrow, that should be the top three sown up. (And I'd be very surprised if Middlesex do win, given that I presume Morgan, Malan, Stirling and Murtagh will all be unavailable.)

Yes. So we went straight into the SFs.

We almost threw it away by losing our final match to Somerset. But Kent also lost theirs, so we stayed on top.

I was getting a bit worried by the sluggish start but clearly setting up a solid base.

Currently 206/1 after 35 overs so have to be looking a target well over 300.

Alsop's turn to step up this time and Markram not far behind. Donald put in a decent knock in his first start I think?

And we won the toss at last, clearly Vince was jinxed!

It's Donald's first game opening (which is where he played for Glamorgan), but it's not his first game. He's had three knocks so far right at the back end of our innings' (where you can barely show what you can do).

To do that without Vince is some going.

If Sussex start badly, they might start to focus on run rate preservation rather than winning the game. Middlesex (not to mention Gloucs and Glamorgan) will be licking their lips at the prospect of a Sussex thrashing. But whilst Luke Wright is at the wicket...

No heroics from Wright today, out for 3.

Four times now we could have run Brown out with a direct hit. Missed all four times.

That huge over makes Sussex the favourites for the first time, in my book.

That Fuller over makes Sussex favourites.

What a loss this will be if it happens, for morale and for qualification.
