Sorry Yuppie, just seen your post.

He didn't play very often for us, mostly cup games. I thought he was a decent keeper when he was at Reading but didn't think he did that great for us.

Championship is his level I think.

Didn't last long, injured on international duty!

Sounds like a nice gesture to rescind his contract and take back his wage bill. Perhaps we're trying towin back a bit of goodwill if we get relegated!

haha, i was not sure if he was being taken back or not. Forest had many many months in FFP, so not sure they will be very sympathetic....

But they'll be thankful we've taken on his wages, we didn't have to.

A club like Bournemouth doesn't stand a chance of reaching the premier league without breaching FFP.

At the end of the day it's a gamble, and only pays off if you get promotion.

For me FFP was a good idea, but its not being policed evenly. Clubs take the risk and get away with it, but what will happen when they come back down. Both Bournemouth and Leicester in theory will have fines.

But then they could do a QPR and never get penalised. Im not even sure whats happening there now.

And its really annoying watching other teams breaking FFP and getting ahead when Forest not only stuffed it up massivly, we actualy went backwards. Though this had more to do with out owners at the time. :rasta

Got to think West ham are going to win this.

Points deductions, transfer embargoes, administration, imminent liquidation, FFP breaches, we've seen the lot at our little club in the last ten years.

As you say FFP seems so half hearted, and clubs hardly seem to bat an eyelid at the implications.

I'm not watching as I've been forced to socialise on my birthday, but the scoreline suggests this is like watching amateur featherweight boxers tickle each other

It's a dreadfully turgid game.

You should have just taken the lead, twice.

I started to suggest it towards the end of last season, and it's almost getting louder by the week. Can Bmouth sack Eddie? Only Burnley have had a worse 2017 than Bmouth, going into last weekend (so after beating Palace last week, in theory Burnley might have gone above Bmouth - I don't know what the gap was).

I still think the answer is no. But Eddie himself has always come across us a principled man. So I wouldn't be surprised if he let the club off from making such a decision (either way), by choosing to walk away.

Thanks for everything Pothas. You'll be missed. My nickname for you was apt and I will never forget it. For the last time, arise Sir Nic.

Brighton back at Dean Court on Tuesday in the League Cup.

I'm going for around 16 changes in personnel!
