220* partnership between Sanga and Foakes. Going to be plenty of scoreboard pressure.

Somerset v Middlesex in the final week, at Galle...sorry, Taunton. After last year's finish denied Somerset the title, that could be an interesting way for Somerset to get some revenge.

Ok return from Woakes, 2-64, but not enough to prevent Essex racking up a huge lead.

Looking good for Essex to wrap up the title this week. 7 bonus points secured, 168 run lead over Warks with two days remaining, and Lancashire following on against Somerset.

Three down for Yorks now. Need something from Ballance and Leaning as it's the al rounders in next.

Two wickets to get 17 runs to go past the fo though. If that happens, a draw must be favourite. Though Surrey can't be ruled out, a declaration might give Yorks an opening..

I thought 150 is the follow on deficit in CC?

It is indeed-Yorkshire following on 198 behind.

Possible look of the bottom of D1 in 24 hours:

Hants 135
Somerset 123
Yorkshire 119 (or 124)
Middlesex 119 (or a point or two higher)
Warks 74

Somerset v Middlesex to come in the final week. Yorkshire and Hants still to play Warks.

Possible look of the top of D2 in 24 hours:

Worcs (13) 216
Notts (12) 207
Northants (12) 178

With Northants v Notts to come next week.

Can't rule out the possibility of the ECB taking a dim view to water getting through the covers at Uxbridge and a points deduction for Middlesex for a poor pitch.
