they can't really, because the squad for the CT has been announced. They pretty much have to use the series against Ireland as a warm up series for the CT players

Fair enough . I'd forgotten about the CT!

Can just pedal back for the next ten overs and keep wickets in hand.

Yes. Timing the chase really well right now. Durham need a couple of quick wickets...or 8 or 9 quick wickets!

Half way there after half the overs, so still game on for Durham as long as this partnership is separated.

118 from 20 overs with nine wickets. Durham needing a collapse. Need to get Bresnan and Rashid in soon.

JB2 could get a double here...

A target of 400 might not have been enough! Have to give full credit to the batsmen but poor from Durham to only take one wicket and never seem capable of applying any pressure. Cook dropping that catch didn't help!
Bairstow gone just now for 174 but surely far too late for Durham.

Root gone. Six an over needed from ten. Yorks don't need to take any chances, but once the top five is out, some anxiety could set in. It'd take a choke from here though.

Looks like Voges and Simpson have slowed Middx down. They looked on for 350 at one point.

Hants are up against it, but the Snarler, George Bailey is still there so they have a chance.

They are a formidable side with Root and Bairstow but not so sure when they're not available. Looks a fairly competative division apart from Warkwickshire.
