I agree.

Both players knew what they were doing.

The FA will probably give both players a ban.

Should do.

Danny Murphy asked how could you ban Mings, because you couldn't prove he stamped on Zlatan's head deliberately, but the same could be said for Zlatan's elbow, even though it was more obvious.

Ibra stamped on Mings first.

Well done to MOTD for picking that up!

I think what really happened was that Mings intended to step as close to Ibra as he could to intimidate him, but slightly misjudged it and caught him a slight blow to the side of the head. After all no one in their right mind would stamp directly on someone's head. Would result in a lengthy ban and possible police prosecution.

Let's face it, no cut or damage to Ibra's head suggests minimal contact, and it looked worse than it actually was.

He'll still get a 3 or 4 game ban.

In the heat of the moment. It looked like a definite stamp to me. You're right though, Zlatan did stamp first, again on purpose.

It doesn't really matter whether it was intentional or not, if Ibra is banned they will have to ban Mings.

Can you imagine the fallout if it's only Ibra that ends up with a punishment, although he should get at least 8 games, 1 for the judo throw, 3 for the stamp on Mings and 4 for the elbow.

Yep, hope it's the turning point in our season!

Poor old Boruc, slagged off a treat for some recent performances, and when he has the game of his life, he's overshadowed by a ton of negative incidents in the game.

Looks like the Man U loving dickheads at the FA will be giving Mings a lengthier ban than Ibra, and it appears they will ignore the latters judo throw and his stamp on Mings.

And simulation to get a player sent off!

Yep, he goes from hurling a 6 foot 7 inch man mountain to the floor with little effort to being felled by a girly shove!

Mings should not get a longer ban than Ibrahimovic. I can't understand the reasoning.

Mings should get a couple, given Zlatan has three. Might Mings get a longer ban because it was an off the ball incident?

Five games, no surprise.

Ibra getting two less for a stamp, an elbow and simulation is no surprise either!
