Boycott killing Cook and Bayliss here.
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/cricket/2016 ... ing-india/
have to agree england are very one dimensional.
"The mindset of the team is all wrong. James Anderson said on day four that when we get Virat Kohli back in England, where it seams and swings, they will bowl him out again. Surely when a guy bats fantastically well and is a superb batsman, you need to be gracious, not dismissive. That is what many of the players think. But sorry, the players and the team are one-dimensional, they are only good when it swings and seams."

"The England & Wales Cricket Board appointed Strauss to look after English cricket. To support Cook as captain he brutally sacked Kevin Pietersen on the day he made a triple century for Surrey and he appointed Bayliss. It is time for our director of cricket to be honest and ask himself are you happy with our cricket?

He will not want to admit his choice of captain and coach have made mistakes. He will want to give them his full support, but this is not the time for Strauss to be a stubborn bugger. We need him to step up and earn his money. "

"Quite frankly we made the wrong selection in picking two seamers too many. Anderson could have opened the bowling with Stokes. England picked four seamers who bowled 59 overs between them, which is the workload for two bowlers.

England were two batsmen short. We play on Cook, Joe Root and Keaton Jennings. Any time your off spinner bats at No 4 and your wicketkeeper bats at No 5 that says everything for the lack of quality batsmen in the squad or reluctance of the selectors to find and play another youngster. "

"Cook said after the match that his team had their chances to win. He said they dropped Kohli on 68 when Rashid missed a caught and bowled. But Rashid was bowling around the wicket, following through to his right. Kohli hit it very hard and low to the off side of the wickets and Rashid had to change direction to dive and try to catch it one handed. You would need to be Jonty Rhodes to take that catch. He also said Yadav was dropped by Root at second slip as soon as Anderson took the new ball. Yes, but whose fault was it that Anderson had to wait 50 overs past the 80 to get his hands on the new ball? The captain."

"Kohli made a comment I agreed with. He said you need a “good defence against our bowlers in India and England’s batsmen did not have enough faith to take their innings long”. England were one spinner short and he said when batting he saw England’s two spinners were tired and bowling to stop India scoring rather than bowling to take wickets. I rest my case. Alastair is kidding himself and his team if thinks came close to matching India."

Probably, but you can also be gracious in victory.

Technically wouldn't bad loser/Bad winner be linked considering if one side are being bad losers chances are the winners will be bad winners to counter it.

A blessing really. What England supporter would really want to witness the last knockings of this dismal performance.

lol Bayliss said maybe in the future lions should tour india before the series.
been saying this for 18 months now.

The fact Hussain, Gower the rest don't buy that excuse shows how overrated and poor the lions system is now.

I was told today that Kohli would have been out lbw 100 less than he scored, if England had had any reviews left.

should have kept one Alistair.... your fault. far too many 'speculative' reviews in test cricket these days.... that isn't what the review is for
