England don't manage it even with the spinners on.

Can be done if you bowl all pace as well, Remember India bowling all 30 overs in a session before in England during Trent bridge.
Some of the excuses people come up with can be so funny sometimes.

Best batter is out. That's usually a bad thing.

Really the biggest difference is India don't doodle and do nothing between overs.
England would be quicker if they cut that out.
they probably waste a minute each over like that which adds up.
Last summer was horrible since looking at it now Pakistan did the same and were worse since the pace men didn't have the stamina to bowl all day and they only had 4 bowlers.

Edit Boom Roots goes good bowling from Ashwin.

Mo's got to be a place or two too high at four. Yet there's specialist batter at seven.

Think I made my views on Ali clear in other forums that Ali isn't a great player of spin, struggles a lot against spin.
Moeen would have to bat really well to get a score here especially with Mumbai already offer decent amount of spin and turn.
apart from Rajkot never actually seen Ali look comfortable against Spin in Test cricket yet.

Batting going to be very hard on day 5 here.

Jenning looks quite good, when I first saw him thought he reminded me of Greame Smith bats a bit like a crab.
but looks more pleasing in the eye than Smith though.

Lol Boycott thinks England should get 550 here and that batting is easy here just some little turn and Dravid/Laxman would bat all day here.
looking at it england would do well to get 400 and if they do get 400 they probably give themselves a great chance of winning a test.
would say 300-320 is about par.

Wonder when the last time was when England fielded an eleven with no one born overseas. If not during a recent Stokes injury, could be in the early noughties.
