With the arrival of Hameed and Jennings Cook can not only give up the captaincy but retire. After that rush of blood it could be sooner rather than later. Well Bayliss can't complain Cook was ultra positive there.
Work expands to fill the time available, so why do today what can be put off until tomorrow.

Vaughan saying that stumpings never happens to Cook but it's his second stumping I remember in the BD-India games.

My memory is faulty just once this winter, four in total.

Fourth time Cook has been stumped.

He's only even been run out once. Batting with KP in Kolkota, 2012. He was stumped off Ashwin for 1 in the other innings of that game.

Not wishing to be premature, but Has might be more likely to stay with Cook in the short term, as a right hander.

thats been where the whole nonsense about the toss has been completely taken out of context by a certain poster

winning the toss in these situation improves your chances but doesn't guarantee anything

it just means instead of maybe having a 1 in 20 chance of winning if you had lost the toss, its now 1 in 10

Well it clearly doesn't improve your chances by 50%.

I liked Cook played positively trying to reach pitch of the ball and hit for six.

One down and the best England batter is out. :clap

need to check your arithmetic bhav

going from a 1 in 20 chance to a 1 in 10 chance is like going from 5% to 10% so it increases your chances by 5%

even then the numbers themselves are meaningless and just plucked out of the air, the point was that winning the toss IMPROVES your chances of getting a result, no more no less
