Can make the bowler lose line, length or fizz.
which can make the batting look more easier for the batting line up and look like the pitch is flat for the bowlers.
for example since I woke up, haven't actually seen the ball do much.

The 4 shots were not lofted drives. Just nicely played along the ground with total control. India can only draw, there is no doubt about it. But runs due to well played shots and accompanied by defense are better than just go into block mode which will bring one more close in fielder.

I too beleive we can play 18 overs. Saha can also waste overs. Jaddu and Mishra too can waste few overs.

Not sure this game coming alive for one session out of 15 session is good enough to keep spectator interest on the test match manjrekar.
Test cricket needs a reason for why people need to watch games in india either an interesting pitch, A massive game or series or some sort of Test championship.
If India play majority of the games in these types of wicket the game dead in a few years, no one would bother watching it if india fielding for 5-6 session or india batting so slowly with most bowlers getting nothing out of the wicket to induce a wicket.

agree not sure the wickets should change the fact this is still a very very boring draw.
