Geez, India do have a long tail, though. Ashwin is a viable allrounder, but with him coming in at six, the Indian lower order is definitely vulnerable.
Bairstow's out. Good innings - England have scored over 120 this session for two wickets.
are you seriously dopey literally no different to england .
Ok, that's uncalled for. I get that you're testy because you've been gleefully telling us for months how the England batting line-up is going to fall in a heap in India, and it hasn't happened, but no need for personal attacks. And gee, what's with the defensiveness? I read about 20 posts on this topic proclaiming angrily that I'm wrong.
For the record, comparing test batting averages:
6: Stokes 35.1, 4 hundreds Ashwin 33.5, 4 hundreds
7: Bairstow 40.9, 3 hundreds, Saha 31.09, 1 hundred
8: Woakes 32.8, Jadeja 24,
9: Rashid 20.77 Mishra 22.34
10: Ansari 15 Shami 11.6
11: Broad 21.7, 1 hundred Yadav 8.56
So England win every position but 9, and that by two runs. 4 more hundreds. Total difference in average: 31 runs to England. So yes, literally no different.
