The pitches in Bangladesh were dust bowls and their spinners bowled better than what I've seen from India so far. This pitch is more for accurate pace and could suit our bowlers if they bowl well. Shami has impressed.

Yadev bowls an over in which 4 deliveries were almost 3 feet wide outside off and Nasser says, good over that . Maybe good if they are already starting to play for the draw.

Really a batting order of Gambhir, Vijay, Pujara, Kohli, Rahane, Ashwin, Saha, Jadeja Mishra, Shami and Yadav quite strong, really can't see the weak lower order.

Bit hypocritical calling india tail weak when Ashwin averages the same as England number 5 and 6 and bat till 9.
bit odd people banging on about england strong lower order but call india one weak purely because Ashwin batting at 6, even though that no different to what England been doing for years.

Anyway at least Nasser made one good point on this topic, it all really depends on how Rashid, Ansari or Woakes bowl in this series if they all awful it doesn't really help the side if they can get 20-30 runs extra in an innings but concede 40-50 runs plus an innings when bowling.

Anyway back to the game, nice to see stokes using his brain he could have easily just went for quick runs and see england be dismissed for 480-500 and instead he batting slow with ansari to take time out of the game and aim for 600-650+.
