City next have Saints at home, and then United in the league cup.

Pep got some tough games coming up.

City were given a masterclass in football yesterday.

Barca were on a different level.

It was a funny old game as Jimmy used to say. City had chances but Barca had Messi. Some say he wasn't at his best but he scored three, set one up, and won a penalty.
Maybe if Aguero had started then the scoreline might have been different?

The scoreline suggests that, but it really wasn't the case for large parts of the game.

City had plenty of very decent chances, but ultimately diabolical defending cost them. All Messi's goals were from errors, he hardly had to do anything.

I thought Barcelona were well off their best, which is worrying for everyone when they win 4-0. Saying that they had the rub of the green last night, and on another night we might have seen a different result.

Well Bravo added 3 goals onto the scoreline by essentially taking a red card for no reason. What the hell he was doing is anyones guess.

Whilst I am liable to be biased, I can't agree that Barcelona were on a "different level". We were well in the game before Bravo decided to hand Barcelona the tie.

Overall, I was surprised by the low quality of football from two of the world's most entertaining sides.

What the hells he doing in the side. Apparently it's because he's got fabulous ball skills, well he showed that he hasn't when he booted the ball straight to a Barcelona player then deliberately handled the ball outside the box.

As I said last night City cannot win a title with this defensive five.

It was pretty shocking. He basically makes the decision that, even though I think a defender is behind him who could (might not) clear the ball before it goes in, if indeed the shot is on target, that its better to be down a man for a half away to Barcelona than potentially 2-0 down.

Asking to play against Barca with one less man is far worse imo. But Bravo knows what he is doing is a red card..... just seems really stupid decision for me.

I'm not a great fan of Joe Hart but he has only conceded one goal in his last four games for Torino, plus he had the MOM performance against Slovenia.

The loan move appears to have done him good.

Just watched the extended highlights of the City game.

Certainly some positives to take to the rematch in Manchester. 4-0 seemed harsh, but when a keeper does that, not much you can do.

Poor refereeing at the start of the Man C v Barcelona game.

Could result in a feisty encounter.

Sterling booked for a dive in the box, but looks like he was caught and should have been a penalty.

Good counter attacking goal by Barcelona, but the defending was pretty half hearted.

City have pulled it back. Sterling yellow card was a shocker.

Arsenal are having one of their moments in Europe it seems.

Sterling at his classic worst at the start of the second half.

This playing out from the back can get a bit ridiculous at times. It's probably Man C best hope of scoring tonight.

Or a free kick! Poor keeping mind.
