I wonder what Yorks are going to do when their chance of winning is virtually zero? Are they obliged to continue to play aggressive cricket and give Middlesex their chance or can they attempt close up shop and accept the draw..

I think they are obliged to win the game until it is impossible, and then they are obliged to play out the natural scenario (not losing).....

So for example, they play aggressively and try to win, but if left with 40 off the last over with 1 wicket remaining, the last person should see out that over as best they can....

Although I cant see draw being a result in play.

Middlesex chances are evaporating, but Yorkshire need to start taking risks now. This could go all three ways still. Yorkshire could easily lose 6 wickets slogging, or just fall short.

All three results just as likely for me.
