A good lbw decision is turned down on 349-9...and then the players go off the field for bad light, and the rain.

Interesting battle at Edgbaston. Lancs will need to get the highest innings score of the match batting last to win.

Should be a straight fight now then between Middlesex and Yorkshire. Literally winner takes all. Somerset need this game to finish draw, but there's no logical reason (unless the weather intervenes) why it would finish a draw. Either Middlesex get bowled out and Yorkshire win by an innings, or Yorkshire chase down whatever they are set, or Yorkshire get bowled out attempting to chase down whatever they are set.

For sessions left, Middlesex surely have to go limited overs style on this, so it could be over tonight by an innings.

Either that, or they accept defeat and play for a draw..... which would be hilarious.

Middx set Yorks something ridiculous expecting Yorks to blow themselves out chasing it. Yorks bat the draw out to spite Middx. Yorks have turned down outrageous targets a couple of time this season. Maybe it'll happen again.
