Hodd has 309 runs this season, and one fifty, averaging under 30. Rated a good keeper though.

His batting seems to have improved since he's had the recent longish run in the team and with the quality bowlers Yorks have a good keeper is paramount and from what I've seen he's as good if not beter than Bairstow.

I see Warwickshire have allowed Varun Chopra to leave early and play the last two games for Essex, considering their batting failures that seems an astonishing decision. The way they've handled Chopra's final season with them has been appallingly bad for the team.

Goes a very small way to cancelling out our decision to let Essex have Wheater three games and a whole season early.

Rashid and Plunkett come in for Rafiq and Patterson for Yorkshire. I'm a bit surprised Patterson has been left out as he's been superb this season, though a little more early than late season. Plunkett does offer something a bit different. Great to get Rashid back.

I've just been listening to it on the radio, and from what I can gather it was a mixture of good bowling, and bad batting. That said, it does sound a bit cloudy.
