Joe Root and Jonny Bairstow have been advised not to play in Yorkshire's final three County Championship matches by the ECB. Whilst a decision on Liam Plunkett, David Willey and Adil Rashid will be made on Wednesday.

Fair enough with Root since he's central contracted and has played a lot of cricket. But resting Bairstow is perplexing, especially when he missed the 1st half of the Pakistan ODI series, not on a central contract and damages the integrity of the County Championship.

We frankly don't deserve to survive. After miraculously getting away with relegation last year, we've got worse this season and deserve to be in div two.
