Another disappointing game for Warwickshire not the first this season that captain Bell would be delighted with. Some opportunities faded due to bad weather others through abject batting and overall a conservative approach to the game. Today's decision to bat on was typical of a team or at least a captain lacking in self belief and confidence.

Great game as was another Div 2 game when Sussex got home.

Fair to say this is going to Middx or Yorks, with a side bet on Somerset or Durham?

Yorkshire have got Somerset, Durham and Middx to play.

Durham probably have the least intimidating run in.

Hard to predict though. My hunch is that Middlesex will win. Not really because they have an easier run in (though they have Notts left) but because they have been strongest so far.

Notts looked doomed and their final games don't offer much hope for them. Their decline seems to have coincided with the arrival of Peter Moores as batting coach (or consultant).

Gale comes in for Leaning and Yorkshire bat against Hants.

Seems like Leaning and Rhodes' disappointing seasons are key to Yorkshire's slight decline this year. They might have been expected to push on and be more prominent.

Keith Barkers has been warned for stepping on the wicket so it's thought that's why Trott's bowling. Mind you he's troubling the batsmen on a regular basis.
