not listening to it since TMS is generally got too many clown as summarises says something when Boycott the best one.
Swann, Vaughan and Tuffnell are terrible.

Sky only really have one Clown, whereas TMS got quite a few.

Mo Ali taking his batting record to Stokes level now. A 5-for with the ball, and he will probably have a better career record in both formats.

Well, he's not out at present, so that's not a true reflection of what his average will be.

Much like Stokes, Ali needs to be in the middle order to get the best out of his batting. It would be entirely feasible to have Stokes and Ali at 5 / 6 without weakening the batting bringing Rashid and Woakes at 7 / 8.

If he gets out now, his batting average is still slightly higher.

But Ali is useless..... and Stokes is a legend.

did fail against india though, that was the series they moved him down.
Also not batted overseas barring opening below 7.

really this might be the first series where he actually contributed with the bat properly.
last year ashes had quite a few not outs and really batted with the tail, did do it well though.

Imho at the moment their both useless only Woakes is useful or close to being described as a legend.
although useless might be harsh since they do allow england 5 bowlers but then again Woakes alone could do that if they afterward pick their best 4 bowlers and Stokes/Ali won't be in it.

You always seem to hear them saying stokes IS a great player

never had a decent record barring 7.
although does average 41 in england but really he will not be consistent enough to suggest he is a viable batting option in the top 7.

really number 7 the best spot and then he got Woakes/Stokes pushing for it so only really one or two of them can play.

Can he get a century if he does would surely put huge question marks on stokes place and maybe might mean Stokes either becomes a gun all rounder or Woakes becomes the gun all rounder.
