Doesn't seem to be a big taker of top order wickets though. But he got Barker and Patel who could easily have won the game for Warks. Still Hain left to make a name for himself, but he'll give Rashid a chance if he attacks him.

Rashid gets the last wicket. Great win for Yorkshire in a tough match.

Could do an interesting case study on the use of spin bowlers in this match. Two classy spinners but used differently in this match:

Adil: 22.3-1-61-7
Jeetan: 61.3-19-104-6

Rashid not taking top order wickets is possibly down to the quality of Yorkshire's seam bowling. If Brooks and Sidebottom don't make in-roads, Patterson will, then Bresnan. Rashid tends to come in if the over-rate is in minus figures and has a knack of toppling the tail.

More of a blow to Yorkshire's white ball chances as replacement players can't play in the knockout stages, though it appears Yorkshire will be a batsman light for The Roses clash unless if a replacement is immediately sought.

This year has been difficult to get any quality overseas player in for a decent length of time, due to a number of internationals being played in the summer.

Yorks won't get any England players back for the T20 knockout v Glamorgan on Thursday, obviously. Losing Head is a blow, but I expect Rashid will be released if he's not picked for the Test.

He got a lot of runs last Australian summer. Not sure it's great having players flown in at the end of the season.

from what I understand Lehmann Jr is highly rated down under, didn't he recently make the Australia A side? Scored well last season and has had to do things the hard way, good signing.

Could have gotten a far better player though, although with jake lehmann having english links might have made him easier to get a visa at short notice.
Also scoring runs in Australia at the moment doesn't mean much, have to see if he can step up overseas and with pitches with more life in it.
Apprently he also trying for a british passport so be jokes if England steal him from Australia with Darren Lehman being the coach of Australia.
that should be a good watch in the next ashes if the case lol.
Anyway surely Australia batting line up is easier to get into that England one at the moment.

Let say Jake as a british passport can he still play for Australia while playing County Cricket with the british passport or does he have to choose one?
might be interesting in the future if Jake is good enough for International cricket.

Not sure any Aussie good enough to play for them, has ever chosen England. Lots of them have a choice.
