!6 wickets today and 25 in the two days, what's the reason bad batting?, good bowling? or the pitch. Inspectors on the way????

A few poor shots played by both teams, pitch doing plenty but not dangerous by any means.

Another top order collapse from Warks in the CC. Clarke has kept them just about in the game with bat and ball.

An exciting days cricket at Headingley today - missed Warwickshire's 1st 4 wickets but saw Sam Hain play a quality innings of 48 on a difficult track, future England material is this lad. Barker and Clarke resorted to playing reverse sweeps in combatting the spin of Rashid, but Bresnan took a stunning low handed one handed catch in the slips.

Pitch was doing a lot, uneven bounce in Warwickshire's innings but the roller took some of the sting out when Yorkshire came to bat. Lyth and Lees played paitently and punished bad balls for 4, but Lyth tried to up the ante by slashing at a ball to slip when it wasn't needed and Travis did the same. Gale got out to a good ball that spun, Leaning did his part in preventing a proper batting collapse but tried to drive at a ball with no real footwork and got bowled out. Patterson out LBW 1st ball though tried to steer it leg side. Lees survived a couple of chances, including a regulation catch put down in the slips but stayed there.

Having Sidebottom and Brooks back in the team makes Yorkshire's batting look that bit more aggressive.

Hain is having a terrible season, and to be honest was nought special last year either if memory serves. A heck of a lot of hype for very little substance.

He's been dogged by injury last year and again today. Warks are to open without Chopra who's been off the field all day and it looks as if Trott might have to open. A defeat was already a likely outcome but now the odds have shortened even more. 229 to win is a long way away.

Chopra comes out to bat but in the one over before lunch Uneed goes for his second duck of the game. He started his first team career with a century since when it been all down hill.

Not a big target, and Warks bat a long way down. Yorks must be favourites, but it could go either way.

With the rather shocking game at Taunton, and Middx seemingly heading for a draw, this is a big game for either side to win.

No one in the commentary team thinks Warks are favourites and I doubt many Warks fans do either.

The way Somerset are winning games recently they might slide in and take their first championship, that would be great.

Given the way the totals are going, you'd expect a home win. But it's still not a lot of runs and the total feels vulnerable, maybe if the pitch flattens a little. But as I said, Yorks are favourites of course.

Sidebottom will see you lot home and then go back to his sick bed and wait for next season when we turn up again.

Well, might be a bit optimistic. Runs starting to accumulate mow, and there won't be another new ball.
