They don't have their finger on the pulse. Typical public sector.

Aaron Finch seems to have been drafted in to make up the numbers for Surrey.

Where's Kane Williamson?

The Warks-Hants game moving on 11 runs in the first 7 overs. The excitement must be palpable at the ground.
Work expands to fill the time available, so why do today what can be put off until tomorrow.

Where's Kane Williamson?

He's "mentally fatigued" according to statement from Yorkshire management. In more common parlance "knackered".

With our bowling attack in this game, this is going to be a high first innings scoring draw.

Wheater and Crane both looking to get past their highest FC scores, 164 and 24 respectively.

Crane didn't make it, but Wheater has just gone past his previous highest score. Probably looking at a possible double ton before declaring.

Ervine 14 runs away from 10,000 first class.

I wouldn't be surprised if Kane has been feeling the effects of jetlag, I think he flown back home after IPL duty before heading out to Yorkshire.

Playing a T20 match on a Sunday afternoon, travelling to London around 6pm, then playing a CC match 11am the following day is going to take it out on any fit person. Then on Friday, Yorkshire have a T20 match in Nottingham.

Quirks in the fixture list like that it's no wonder players want a reduced CC fixture list.

This is what happens when other Division 1 sides have their own dedicated threads.

Yorkshire are on the field and need to break this parnership.

I think Yorks, Notts and Somerset are the only top division teams without their own thread. Somerset struggling against the Middx tail.
