I'd guess conditions are favourable for bowling, will be tough chasing whatever target is set.

Yep - it's the Sri Lanka test match all over again, overcast skies and the pitch providing plenty of assistance for the bowlers. An innings lead above 300 would be good for Yorkshire.

Good lead now anyway. Rashid/Bres and Rashid/Plunkett have added over a hundred. 300+ lead with Hodd to bat. All is not ill.

Rashid goes after a valuable knock, Plunkett closing in on fifty. Time to flog a few tired bowlers.

It's weird we swap between looking the best side in the county and looking like we should be relegated, zero middle ground between the two.

All set up for an intriguing final day of the Roses match.

To be fair you could justifiably make that claim about most of the 1st div. counties.

Latest weather forecast looks increasingly dicey, a threat of persistent drizzle throughout play.

Five to get for Yorks, but a partnership developing.

Better for the CC if Yorks win, rather than Lancs getting away at the top. Lancs sounded like a win was on overnight but a draw looking a better route for them now.

63 partnership for Lancs. The game needs a wicket.

New ball in three overs.

Adil Rashid strikes to remove Liam Livingstone

Yorkshire need to get the remaining 4 wickets sooner rather than later, light is going to be a factor post teatime.

Rashid gets Livingstone with the old ball. How often does he magic a wicket when nothing's happening. 179 for Lancs to get.
