Also Arthur weirdly enough it was the Ahmedabad/nagpur type of wickets that made Dhoni go crazy he hated captaining in these games, kohli the same now.

I can never actually see a draw happening in india now barring rain.
Dhoni/Kohli are adamant they don't want to see those game happening ever.

Wondering if the bat is too heavy for Taylor?

For his size he should be a size 6 or Harrow at a push.

No surprise England batsman have struggled in this innings, they have been one of the worst batting line ups in quick/bouncy wickets in the last 5-6 years.
the techniques/trigger movements the batsman have in these conditions are just awful.

Well Dhoni was very vocal about it in that series, but the groundsman at Kolkata? told him to go to hell by memory, and the whole debate seemed to indicate that the groundsman dont take orders from the BCCI to produce wicket pitches... they take orders from the CEO who wants 5 days

Well didn't the groundsman get sacked afterwards lol.
Anyway since that series all pitches in india have been quick and just how the captain wanted it.

Also India are very unique their don't need CEO wickets since the board, Broadcasters and even the state hosting the games have already made the money.
Weirdly enough broadcasters are now making more money for being a result pitch/ wickets are seeing huge ratings compared to the other games.

Star Sports didn't even care that all the games finished in 2-3 days since the ratings were 20-30% higher than if it was a 5 day game.

Always good to be at the game. That was the series that Giles bowled down the leg side to SRT all the time, so it wasn't always thrilling.

sorry the guy didn't get sacked.
http://sports.ndtv.com/india-vs-england ... a-outburst
But BCCI tried to get him replace midway through the series.
won't get his contract renewed now by the east zone and bengal cricket board.
http://www.hindustantimes.com/cricket/n ... rWEgN.html
Apparently he didn't like the fact broadcasters/board had a go at him for not covering the ground well enough which made the game get called off in a farcical situation.
