In terms of their respective games quite possibly, in terms of relegation likelihood Hants still way ahead.

Set up for a great finale.

But the ECB want to ruin all that in the future.

Suppose so in terms of only one scenario keeps Hants from going down, but any result is (arguably) equally possible in either game. In fact, given Yorks are the strongest side in the division, that balances things a little in Hants favour.

I think I could cope with most scenarios but if we do somehow snatch an improbable win and Sussex hang on for draw I will be bemoaning the fact we didn't just play out a easy draw in the penultimate game!

That'll do. Hants 326 ao. Just need a Notts collapse now.

Essentially two one innings games at Headingley and Trent Bridge. Think the weather is set fair for both games to provide results either way.

A Bairstow ton doesn't feel as inevitable as it did earlier in the season.

I'd take a 350 lead.

Getting jittery?!

I'm sure Notts will be amenable to a 300 run chase off 96 overs.

If both matches reach conclusion, I have Hants as favourites.
