UEFA Champions League Continued 2015/16

The beautiful game!

Got 3.

Utd tore Brugge apart. Brugge had to attack and as a result were left wide open at the back. Not that it would have mattered. Utd were a different class.

As far as tactics I thought they were awful and baring a split second at the end of the game so would have everyone else.

He takes Carrick off at half time to make a point that the German is his new man. Apart from the own goal Carrick was linking up with Memphis beautifully.

Secondly if you're going to bring on a tall bloke for Rooney why did he bring on one of the shortest guys in the team being Hernandez?.

I'm happy they got the third goal yet also disappointed because Van Gaal has got away with one.

Lazy having 69% possession and 16 shots, ok. We missed quite a few chances. Van Gaal's fault obviously. Saved by the best player on the pitch, yeah that's usually how football works. And it's also wrong as many players had decent performances. Smalling and Blind especially are proving people wrong, albeit this opposition wasn't as good as Spurs or even Villa. I thought it was good signs going forward for United especially if we inject more pace into the team with Pedro.

Carrick was poor in the first half, he was taken off to save him. Van Gaal loves Carrick and has said so a lot that Carrick is like a coach on the pitch for him. Hernandez was brought on because he's a poacher and we needed goals, I thought that was obvious. Maybe not. You also have a poor memory if you think Hernandez is bad in the air, he is brilliant.

Fellaini was brought on as a last ditch for a goal on for Rooney who hasn't started the season well and got a goal. That in most people's minds would show that Van Gaal made a good decision to bring him on.

Maybe we watched a different game tonight. I'm happy, I think we've got a long to way to go but there are promising signs. We mainly need to get our signings right in the next two weeks.

If Pedro goes to Chelsea, we've messed up.

I find it hard to belive that there were two United games on at the same time. We must have watched the same game.

Once again United are unstoppable as they have been all season.

Question remains of Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Bayern whom is most likely to challenge United for the Champions league cup.

My grandfather, who incidentally was a farmer, always told me you reap what you sow. Well I was never any good with a needle and thread so I never really figured out what He meant.

could be some really imbalanced groups with the new way they have done the seedings

the three English clubs in pot 2 will really be hoping to get zenit or PSV out of the top pot

very kind draw for man utd , PSV probably the easiest of all the top seeds and CSKA Moscow altho being a possible tough trip depending on when its scheduled shouldn't be too tough either

not easy for man city as sevilla wont be a pushover as the 3rd team in their group

No reason why all four English teams can't progress.

Looks a good draw all round.
