I've no idea how they're decided, but I can see from the BBC website what they are:

Tues 25 (10.30): Gloucs - Hants
Tues 25 (10.30): Surrey - Kent
Wed 26 (10.30): Notts - Durham
Thurs 27 (10.30): Essex - Yorks

Interesting that the Surrey game is less than 24 hours after the Test match finishes at the Oval.

I guess due to the Test match and a full round of County Championship matches not finishing until Monday, and no-one ideally wanting to play a big QF the day before Finals Day (although as it turns out, we're the only county to have made both), the matches had to be squeezed into those three days.

My TV guide is saying that one of Tuesday's matches will be shown on Sky (you can be 99% certain it'll be Surrey-Kent. Sky will already be there for the test match, after all). I guess there's a chance that the second match will be on the red button, but I'm not holding out much hope.

No game is showing for Weds, as there's a women's t20 between Eng and Aus. Again though, it's possible that the red button may come in use. But again I doubt it.

And my TV guide doesn't yet extent to Thursday, so I've got no idea.

There is a listing in next weeks Radio Times for a game on Thursday.

Presume the games that are able to be will be the usual day nighters during the weekdays? Does Bristol have floodlights yet, know there was talk of them finally getting permission at the start of the season?

Looks as if BBC have got it wrong as Durham Twitter says we're playing on Tuesday...although they have been wrong before!

Surrey twitter also claims they have the Thursday game, with a late start, whilst the ECB website fixture list is showing the same as the BBC (presumably they just grabbed it from there).

There's a tube strike on the 27th so looks like no one will be at the Surrey-Kent game!

Essex v Yorkshire confirmed for Sky ,along with Notts v Durham. Surprised Gloucestershire v Hampshire isn't televised when it's a 10.30am start, the game is likely to finish before 7pm for the Women's International Twenty20.

Wonder if Sky will insist the England players will feature in the Quarter-Finals? Yorkshire could potentially have a batting order of Finch, Root, Bairstow and Ballance.
