Notts have made early in-roads during the morning session, taking three wickets in the first six overs. However Yorkshire's lower order have settled things down and are past the 400 mark.

Maximum points win-Notts in a relegation battle especially after Somerset's recent resurgence.

Stuart Broad trying his best in making Yorkshire bat again, the curse of the 9th wicket partnership.

Eventually it all came down to timing, but Yorkshire complete another fine victory with an innings and 8 runs win against Notts. Great going considering Yorkshire were 51-3 in the 1st innings, replying to Notts 224.

Makes the Durham v Yorkshire game all the more tasty, just a shame it's not televised. Leaders v title holders making a good curtain raiser for The Ashes.

Particularly as there's only 1 T20 scheduled during those 4 days. But Sky don't seem aware that there's a CC taking place this season. No coverage so far this season and with a packed international schedule nor is there likely to be any. Probably televise one of the last round of matches with the likeligood that the championship will already have been decided.

Probably a combination of their IPL coverage at the start of the season and cost cutting because of the expensive Premier League deal are factors in the lack of CC coverage. Although they have a history of not showing a game in the final round if the title has already been decided. They cancelled plans to show a game 2 years ago and have a feeling it was the same last year?

They screened the Lancs vMiddlesex relegation decider last season iirc and also York's title winner v Notts a fortnight earlier. How about Hants v Notts as a final game relegation decider. No problems with the title decider-we aren't involved in the final round of fixtures.Already won the title by then. :hide

I couldn't remember for sure about the end of last season. County Championship coverage ( or lack of coverage) is the only failing in Sky's otherwise excellent cricket programming.

Strong looking Yorkshire side for the 48 pointer with Durham. Unfortunately lost the toss though.

A fantastic recovery from Bairstow and Bresnan, interesting that all of the Yorkshire top 8 have made scores of double figures.

Maximum batting points look a way off, but if Yorkshire are no more than 8 down after 110 overs then that would be as good.

Yes. This is what Bairstow has been doing regularly, and Bresnan has been contributing. Durham getting a little lower order medicine back.
