Terrific performance by England in the second half of the game.
Sports broadcasting media nut miscast as a hard-working family man. Or should that be the other way around?

Cook to get credit for some smart captaincy ? Five successful bowling changes and a fielder at third man to finish it ?

(Insert flying pig icon)

But he should . Today at least.

Great team win , with some great individual performances. If you didn't enjoy that match , you just dont like cricket...

Well done England. I didn't get to see any of day 5, but I didn't expect them to bowl NZ out inside 70 overs. Quite a turn around after being behind for a large chunk of the match.

Sounded like a thriller, so I'm looking forward to the highlights in a few minutes.

Switch on after the play off final and witnessed the last few wickets. New Zealand must have had money on England, the way that they batted today leaves a lot to be desired.

Mind, half these players were India a week ago

I was going to do a post in the style of overseas supporters slagging England off, but disappointingly, they only have two players not born in the UK.

Great win for England, certainly a great recovery from 4-30 in the first innings :clap

Sets up the summer nicely now.

Thank you Arthur- there may be a lot wrong with English cricket at the top but most of the players deserve our support. I'm rather fed up with the Jeremy Kyle show and the airing of all the dirty linen in public - from all sides.
There are one or two players who 'don't see or hear anything' so can't comment and then get criticised - well good for them because that's how it should be.

I'm all for playing for another country if you have obtained a legitimate citizenship like everyone else has to. I have 3 passports and if I were given the opportunity to play for England and not Australia, I most certainly would.

Just curious how did Stokes obtain his citizenship as neither parent is British?

England squad for the second test. Same squad for this game plus Plunkett, so Jordan back in the mix.
