Yesterday apparently. Sussex have a long tradition of taking damaged cricketers and polishing them, hopefully his FC debut with the bat is a signal of whats to come.

In all honesty, all I know is he was trouble and has been released from three counties before 21.....boy got talent?

From the few limited overs games i've seen him play, Oliver is a lower order hitter and a good death bowler who can get a yorker in almost straight away. Also took a stunning one handed catch on the boundary rope in a Pro40 game against Glamorgan.

That's a new record last wicket partnership for Sussex, (since 1908) forcing Cox and Butt into a 2nd position they probably thought they would never contemplate.

Shehzad is in the wickets again. Wonder what odds he will get on a international recall in 2015.

Plenty of runs around in this round of matches.

So far there's been 3 scores of 400+ and 6 of 300-399.

Reckon Shazhad will be in the Ireland ODI squad, whether it leads to selection against New Zealand and Australia is another matter.

Can't say i've seen much of Shazhad since he left Yorkshire, but if he's bowling with vemom he has potential to cause the Australians problems and especially those who bat left handed.

Given how depleted the Yorkshire squad is and Warwickshire's bowling attack is one of the best in England, this is a battling effort from the White Rose. Bowled with discipline on Day 1 and managed to avoid the follow on.

Many Yorkshire fans would be happy with a win and two draws to start the season when the ECB have abused the county of it's players.

Hales on the verge of another ton.

Yes, an unbeaten start to the season would be a very good outcome Al, and the team has been resilient. Have to see how this one goes yet though.

Jinxed him. He has 639 runs this season, with two more games to get to 1000 before the end of May (amazingly, Notts have two games in May), unless he misses any for the Ireland match.

Good to see that James Middlebrook is still around. I'm still amazed that Northants saw fit to get rid of him.
